Will these symbols work everywhere?

Every symbol here is a standard Unicode character, so it can be pasted into WhatsApp, Instagram, X, Word or a website. Whether it displays depends on the fonts on the reader's device. Punctuation, digits and the currency abbreviations are supported almost everywhere; ornamental and recently added characters may show as an empty box on older devices.

Frequently asked questions

How do I type ﷺ?

Tap ﷺ in the Religious phrases section to copy it, then paste it after the Prophet's name. It is a single Unicode character (U+FDFA). Its appearance depends on the font of the app you paste into.

Why does ﷽ look so small or so large?

The basmala ﷽ is one very wide character. Each font draws it at a different size, and some fonts do not include it at all. If it does not display, write the phrase in full instead: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم.

How do I write Saudi riyal in Arabic?

The common Arabic abbreviation is ر.س, for example ٥٠ ر.س. A dedicated Saudi riyal sign was added to Unicode in 2025 (U+20C1), but many phones and computers cannot display it yet, so the abbreviation is the safe choice.

What is the difference between , and ،?

The Arabic comma ، is turned the other way and sits correctly in right-to-left text. Use ، ؛ ؟ in Arabic sentences and , ; ? in English ones.

What do “U+code” and “HTML” copy?

They copy the Unicode code point (e.g. U+060C) or an HTML entity (e.g. ،) instead of the symbol itself — handy for developers and designers.
